2025 PPSA / IRW in Banff, Alberta, Canada: Friday to Sunday, September 19–21.

We are delighted to announce that the Prairie Political Science Association (PPSA)—run in parallel with the Indigenous Relationality Workshop (IRW)—will be holding its 16th Annual Meeting from September 19-21, 2025.

The Conference will once again be held at the Banff Centre in Banff, Alberta, Canada, located in Treaty 7 Territory, traditional lands of the Stoney Nakoda, Blackfoot, Tsuut’ina Nations, and the Ktunaxa Nation.

The PPSA Annual Meeting is known for its collegial atmosphere and spectacular setting in the Canadian Rockies. Easy interaction and exchange of ideas with colleagues is made possible through shared first-class dining facilities at the Banff Centre and excellent conference space. While maintaining a roughly 2:1 Faculty-to-Graduate student participation ratio, grad students will find the PPSA a positive and supportive environment to present their research.

Participants in the PPSA are welcome and encouraged to attend sessions run the IRW, and the IRW participants are happily invited to attend sessions run by the PPSA. One registration fee provides access to both events.
